By Persephone
Day in and day out,
The studying continues throughout.
Distractions are everywhere;
The temptation I must forbear.
The deadline is looming,
My knowledge barely blooming.
As time goes by, my willpower fades.
I barely even care about the grades.
The clock is ticking,
Yet I feel my brain shrinking.
With a process so painstaking,
God, I hate test-taking.
